TAPESTRY 2025 - A Night to Remember!

Honour the Past. Celebrate the Now. Inspire the Future.

On 21 August 2025, AfCAS proudly hosted Tapestry, a vibrant evening that brought our community together in a celebration of multiculturalism, compassion, and inclusion.

Tapestry was more than just an evening of incredible entertainment—it was a powerful reminder of the impact we can make together as a community. The event shone a light on the challenges faced by senior migrants living with dementia, allowing us to raise awareness about an issue close to our organization's heart. Together, we also raised much-needed funds to support the wellbeing of these senior migrants. Thanks to the generosity of our guests, the funds raised will go directly towards outings and activities that uplift and support the mental health of migrant seniors cared for by AfCAS and their dedicated volunteers.

Guided by our motto, “Honour the Past. Celebrate the Now. Inspire the Future.”, Tapestry perfectly reflected the mission and spirit of AfCAS. We work to bring together those of diverse ages and cultural backgrounds, providing them with companionship and a space to share their cultural traditions. While we remain committed to improving the lives of today's migrant seniors, we are equally focused on bringing together a compassionate and charitable community that will help continue our mission for generations to come.

A Celebration of Culture and Talent

The night featured a breathtaking lineup of performances from diverse cultural groups, each showcasing their passion, artistry, and traditions. See snippets of the amazing performances below.

The diversity of performances highlighted the beauty of multiculturalism and the joy of shared celebration.

A Community United

The turnout for Tapestry was extraordinary, reflecting just how much our community values connection, culture, and charity. The event has received overwhelmingly positive feedback about the amazing talents of the Tapestry performers, the delicious food, and the uplifting atmosphere that made the night so special. The impact Tapestry has made, as both a celebration of multiculturalism and fundraiser for an important cause, is thanks to our charitable audience and the selfless efforts of our performers. AfCAS extends a special thank you to all these groups for a magical evening. Tapestry demonstrated the incredible impact we can achieve when we stand together for a cause. Tapestry 2025 was truly a night to remember—one filled with joy, generosity, and unity.
